Cleshar have been awarded the multidisciplinary design & build contract to construct the state of the art Wheel Lathe facility at Cockfosters depot.  This achievement showcases our company's expertise and commitment to delivering innovative solutions across the UK’s Transport infrastructure.
The Piccadilly Line Upgrade (PLU) Programme is in response to the current and forecasted increases in passenger demand in conjunction with the Mayor’s Transport Strategy.
This new Wheel Lathe facility will provide a dedicated centre for servicing the newly arriving Piccadilly line rolling stock. The cutting-edge infrastructure will enable enhanced efficiency for train maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety for London’s passengers.
