GPX is ISO 3834-2 certified and accredited by The Welding Institute's (TWI) Welding Fabricator Certification Scheme (WFCS) and Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) to undertake aluminothermic welding (Thermit and Pandrol), arc welding and rail grinding. Our services are also accredited by the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF) and the International Institute of Welding (IIW).

Network Rail and TWI approved welding training for both our own technical staff and external organisations is delivered by our in-house training provider, Infrastructure Training Services (ITS).

GPX operates nationally with depots in northwest London, Rotherham and Newport and satellite facilities in Ashford and Fareham. Our northwest London and Rotherham depots also house ITS's welding training centres.

GPX is the largest supplier of track welders in the UK and, typically, deploys 75 to 80 teams of welders across the rail network each day.
