Our Depot Maintenance Teams were hard at work undertaking essential maintenance of the Switches & Crossings at Ashford Depot on behalf of Southeastern to ensure that these critical assets are well maintained and remain reliable.

Whilst delivering these works for our client, the depot environment also gives us the ability to give some of our inexperienced Blue Hat staff an opportunity to gain valuable railway experience.

• The following work was completed on several Switches & Crossings:
• Quarterly signalling maintenance complete
• Grinding to remove lipping on crossing
• Rails adjusted
• S&C Timbers renewed
• Maintenance of Joints
• S&C Inspections
