Rail Wellbeing Live 2026 is officially underway, having launched yesterday and running throughout the week. Now in its fifth year, the event has become the largest free wellbeing event for the rail industry, bringing together colleagues, experts and high-profile speakers to focus on health, wellbeing and resilience.
Taking place online from 19–23 January 2026, Rail Wellbeing Live offers everyone working across the rail industry the opportunity to step back from day-to-day pressures, connect with others and gain practical tools to support their wellbeing.
This year’s programme features an exceptional line-up of speakers from across sport, healthcare, broadcasting and adventure. Contributors include bestselling author and podcast host Giovanna Fletcher, actor, broadcaster and long-standing children’s welfare and education advocate Baroness Floella Benjamin OM DBE DL, Paralympian, world champion and resilience coach Stef Reid MBE, England Rugby international Joe Marler, GP and women’s health and menopause specialist Dr Nighat Arif, sex educator, author and presenter Tracey Cox, and National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Alastair Humphreys. Together, they share powerful insights, personal stories and practical advice designed to inspire and support people at every stage of their wellbeing journey.
One of the defining features of Rail Wellbeing Live is its flexible ‘pick ’n’ mix’ format. With more than 50 sessions available across the five-day programme, attendees can shape their own experience and focus on the topics that matter most to them. Sessions explore a wide range of themes, including brain health, mental wellbeing, resilience, lifestyle medicine, forgiveness, trauma, nutrition and the impact of digital platforms on behaviour and attention.
New for this year are two dedicated wellbeing zones, designed to make wellbeing support more accessible than ever. The Frontline Zone has been created specifically for the people who keep the railway moving, offering on-demand, industry-focused sessions that provide practical insights, real-life experiences and tools tailored to frontline roles. All sessions are pre-recorded and available to watch at any time during the event.
Alongside this, the Zen Zone offers a calm and restorative space, featuring short guided sessions that can be used at work, at home or on the go. These sessions include mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, visualisation, laughter yoga and emotional freedom techniques, providing simple and effective ways to pause, reset and recharge.
Whether joining for a single session or engaging across the full week, Rail Wellbeing Live 2026 provides a valuable opportunity to prioritise wellbeing, gain new perspectives and connect with colleagues from across the rail industry.
