Cleshar are delighted to confirm that we have been appointed as one of the key suppliers for the new innovative Southern Integrated Delivery (SID) which will deliver buildings and civils works across the southern region for control period 7 and control period 8 for Network Rail (NWR). 

The Civils Off Track works (Lot 9) that we have been awarded to partner as part of SID will focus predominantly on fencing and vegetation management.

As delivery partner, Cleshar is responsible for all planned ,unplanned, cyclical maintenance and minor works on the Sussex Route.

The works will predominately focus on vegetation management , involving regular lineside vegetation clearance and maintenance, the inspection and clearance of diseased and dangerous trees, in particular, those at high risk of falling during bad weather, and the control of invasive species.

Fencing works, include road traffic anti-collision/vehicle incursion systems, line side boundary fencing, various security fencing, and anti-tress pass measures.
This most recent award by Network Rail supports our further growth in this area, building on our already considerable vegetation management experience on the [UK’s] rail infrastructure.
