​Recently, Cleshar delivered an extensive package of possession vegetation works for Transport for London.

This is all thanks to detailed planning, teamwork, and the unwavering commitment of our incredible staff.

A special shout out to the teams across the West & North Zones for executing these works safely and collaboratively, without a single incident or accident.

Over just three days, the team tackled crucial maintenance tasks that will greatly support the upcoming leaf fall season.

Below is a breakdown of what was achieved:

✅ 6 trees felled (list sent to Earthworks)
✅ 2m clearance completed from cable run
✅ 15 trees pollarded and 3 large oaks cut back due to 5m cable encroachment
✅ Area brushed and chipped, with all chippings spread along the fence line (no deeper than 2cm)
✅ Logs neatly stacked in eco piles
✅ All litter removed
✅ Timelines effectively communicated to the EIC
✅ No incidents or accidents reported throughout the 3-day possession
✅ LU Manager and Cleshar Contract Manager completed a joint walkthrough to confirm safe train operations post-possession
