November 25th marks White Ribbon Day, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women a global call to raise awareness and take collective action to prevent violence against women and girls.

At Cleshar Contract Services we recognise the importance of supporting this movement and standing together to promote respect, safety, and equality across all communities.

How You Can Get Involved:

• Wear a White Ribbon to show your commitment to ending violence against women.

• Educate yourself on the different forms of violence, their impact, and how to support survivors.

• Start conversations with colleagues, friends, and family to challenge harmful stereotypes and behaviours.

• Take the White Ribbon Pledge to speak out and actively oppose violence towards women and girls.

White Ribbon began in Canada in 1991, when a group of men united to take a stand against violence toward women.

Today, it has grown into a global movement a reminder that this is not just a women’s issue, but a societal one that requires all of us to take responsibility.
