Innovations

The Eliminator Waterproofing System was applied to the bridge deck which allowed the works to be completed in sections so that the highway could remain in use.
The Matterport 3D Visualisation System was used as a pilot project on this project. This System was used to provide dilapidation surveys, weekly progress reports and handover files.

Benefits / Project Outcome
  • The repairs and remediation works were successfully carried out to the bridge deck with minimal inconvenience to road users. This ensured the structure could be used by traffic while the works were taking place.
  • Additional safety features were also installed by introducing highway impact barriers to the structure where previous vehicle crashes had occurred.
