Innovations
We used new retractable shuttering support jigs which enabled the team to adjust length of the shuttering as required on the shift. We also used reinforced reusable rubble bags to reduce plastic waste.
We used a larger Hippo mixer to help us to reduce both manual handling and the generation of airborne dust during concrete mixing.
We also introduced a COVID-19 Compliance Officer to ensure alignment with Government guidelines and introduced portable hygiene stations on site with additional sanitizing equipment.
Benefits / Project Outcome
- Extending the life span of the track, improving ride comfort, increasing train speeds and reliability of the service for public.
